Girls Night

Last night I got to hang out with Kristine and Kristen, my old roommates and bestest friends forever! Kristen was in town from California so we had a bbq on Tues and then the three of us went out on Wed. It was so fun! It made me realize how much I miss those two. It's been forever since we have gotten together, but the three of us picked up like we were living with eachother yesterday! I love those two girls! Thanks Kris and Kris for the fun night and for being such great friends!

Swimming

I forgot to take my camera yesterday to the pool, but got these pictures before we left. I bought this swim suit for Katie before she was born for like $1.50. She was sooooo cute! Check out that serious outy belly button. Cute!

Strawberry Days

Well, today we decided to go to Strawberry Days. Tyler was so cute! Katie was so into watching the rides and lights, she sat in the stroller and didn't make a peep the entire time. As we pulled up Tyler got so excited! His voice got higher and so did his volume. It was hilarious! He had to point out every ride to Matt and then point out each one to me too. He was talking a hundred miles an hour. Needless to say coming home was a fight. It was a fun evening as a family! My kids are so adorable! I unfortunately lost my camera a few weeks ago so I have no pictures of all of our fun adventures. Hopefully that will show up again soon. We might do the rodeo tomorrow or Saturday. We'll see. I'm sure Tyler will be overly excited about that too. That's it for now, adios!

Super Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend! It started Thursday evening. We drove to Logan and got a room there with the kids. The next day we spent in Tremonton with Matt's extended family. His aunt has horses, chickens, rabits, dogs, goats. Lets just say Tyler and Katie loved it! Matt's sweet parents watched Tyler and Katie that night while Matt and I went to Wendover with Julie and Luke. We went to the Collin Ray concert and it was so fun! It was a great concert! Saturday we went to Hill AFB and saw the air show. There were so many awesome planes and amazing tricks. Tyler and Matt were as excited as two kids at Disney Land! It was a busy busy weekend but we had a lot of fun! Of course I forgot my camera, but Matt's parents took some fun pictures so hopefully I will be able to get those soon!

Our Future Soccer Pro

Tyler went to his first soccer game today. It was so stinkin' adorable! There is an indoor soccer place near us. We have been thinking of putting Tyler in a class but weren't sure if he would like it. So today they him play with the 3 year olds to see. He LOVED it. We got home and he wanted to go out to the park and play soccer with Dad. It was a fight to take his new soccer socks (shin guards) and his cool soccer shoes! He was so cute I had to blog about it today and post pictures! My little boy is getting into sports! How adorable!!!

Timp Cave

Yesterday Matt and I took the kids to Timp Cave. It was really fun! Silly us, we hadn't hiked it since elementary school and thought it was only a 30 min hike, not too hard. Ya it took us an hour and half to get up to the cave. And lets just say it was a little much for Tyler. We had Katie in a backpack but had to carry Tyler half of it too. None the less we had a blast! Matt's parents and brother Jake came with us, thankfully since they helped with the kids. We had a picknick in the canyon before the hike. AF canyone is beautiful and the cave was amazing! We have had a great weekend.

I've started a new cooking blog. My friend Carrian inspired me to start cooking more. So I have taken her example and started posting the new things that I cook. I have had some great dishes and some not so great. But for any of you out there wanting new ideas or what not feel free to follow my blog on what is happening in our kitchen! Happy Anniversary

Matt and I have now been married 4 years. Wow time sure does fly! We had a great weekend! My parents took the kids and Matt and I went to St. George. We went down Friday evening, hiked Zions all day Saturday, and came back Sunday. It was short, but soooo much fun! I wish we could do it every weekend.

We sure have had a great four years! We have a wonderful little boy and an adorable little girl. We live in a cute house with an amazing ward. Matt has graduated college and has a great job. We love each other and our children very much and love to spend time together. We have the gospel in our lives and the Holy Ghost guiding us. Who could ask for a better life? So more then a "happy anniversary" blog entry this is a "I am so incredibly grateful for my life" entry! The Lord has blessed with happiness and so much more and I am grateful to him!

Happy Mothers Day

A tribute to all you mothers out there that might be reading this. You are amazing! It may not be instant gratification, but there is nothing better on this earth than raising a child. Here is a quote I found online about mothers:

"They have strengths that amaze men. They carry children, they carry hardships, and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up for injustice. They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. They go without new shoes so their children can have them. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer when their loved ones get awards. They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage. They are strong when they think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart. Mothers come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes. They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a mother is what makes the world spin! Mothers do more than just give birth. They bring joy and hope. They give compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends. Mothers have a lot to say and a lot to give." -author unknown
