Gratitude
Today I thank the Lord for my children. We had a little incident that could have been terrible, but thanks to the Lord everything was fine. I ran some errands with my mom and my kids today. We stopped at the store for a potty break for Tyler. I got him some strawberry gummies for go potty on the big potty. As we were driving around town Katie was streaming because it was nap time and she just wouldn't fall asleep in the car. She finally stopped and I assumed she had fallen asleep. Tyler then said "Look mom Katie loves them!" I asked if he had given her a candy and he said yes, she loves them. I pulled to the side, slammed on my breaks and jumped out of the car. I opened the back door and Katie's face was bright red, she wasn't getting air, she was kicking her legs, tears were streaming. I pulled her out and yelled to my mom to get her phone. Luckily my mom was with me. She grabbed Katie, tipped her upside down and gave her the hymlic. It came out and Katie is now fine. If Tyler hadn't said anything, or if I hadn't asked Tyler to clarify I would have assumed Katie was sleeping and who knows what would have happened. I am so incredubly greatful that I had the Lord watching over us and the spirit to guide me. Needless to say I have been a little emotional today. I love my family so much and am so greatful to the Lord for watching over us today!

Draper Temple
We just got back from the Draper Temple open house. It was amazing! Many of you have seen it already. If you haven't? Go, go now and take your entire family. It is amazing. It's a perfect opportunity to teach you children about temples (no age is too young), to feel the spirit, to share the amazing feeling with your spouse and family, to share the gospel with someone who isn't a member or active or looking for answers, anything. Tyler was so cute in it too. As we walked in the doors I told him this is the temple and now we have to whisper. I tell him every Sunday that we whisper in the church but it doesn't stick. This did. My little boy didn't make a peep. If he wanted to say something he leaned over and whispered in my ear. It was amazing. In the sealing room he sat down on a chair and folded his arms the entire time the couple spoke. I didn't even have to ask him to. It just shows that even a small child can feel the reverence and the power of the Holy Ghost in the temple. Katie jabbered the entire time, but it was adorable! If you don't have tickets they wont turn you away so don't let that be your excuse! It has been a great day and the temple is absolutely beautiful!

Potty Training
It's finally happening. I am potty training Tyler. We did it all day yesterday. After I swear a million accidents and disinfecting everything he finally went on his potty twice. Now it's day two and we have had one success and one accident and it's only 8:30. I think it's going to be another very long day. Plus I have to stay by his side which means very uneventful days for me. I hope today is more successful so that maybe tomorrow we can leave the house once or twice. We'll see. In the picture Tyler is eating his treat he got for sitting on the potty and playing games on Matt's ipod Touch. He loves that thing, it's kinda funny. So since I am sitting here all day again today I thought I would do a little post. Wish me luck! Yeah to no more diapers!

Happy Love Day
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's from us! We had a great weekend. Matt and I got to go out Friday night. He planned a great evening and we had a lot of fun. Then Saturday we spent the day playing with the kids and what not. Sunday we got to visit friends and a little family. It was great! I have been slacking on my blogging. I just haven't taken pictures of the kids as much lately and we've been busy with Matt in school again. When it warms up I'm sure I'll have tons of picts of Katie and Tyler outside. We're doing good though. Matt's getting through school and still scheduled to graduate this spring. Tyler, Katie, and I have fun playing and doing our thing each day. Now that Katie and Tyler aren't sick we are able to have more play dates, which makes all of us happy! I hope you all had a great weekend and are loving February!
