Happy Halloween!!! We had a ton of fun last night!!! Katie was Bat Girl and Tyler was a Storm Trooper. Last week Katie had a little program and carnival at her school. She was adorable singing her little songs! Yesterday started with a parade at Tyler's school. He was so cute! Then last night we did trunk-or-treating out our church building with a couple other wards. Then we took the kids to the grandparents houses for trick-or-treating in their neighborhoods. Lots of candy and lots of fun!!!

I'm 30
I turned 30! That's right! I'm no longer in my 20's. It's ok though! I had a hard time with it only because I liked saying I'm in my 20's. Not anymore though, now it's the 30's. Could be worse I guess!
I had such a great birthday weekend. Matt surpised me and took Friday off of work. We spent the day up in Salt Lake, which we love to do. Then we went up to Park City where Matt had gotten a hotel room. The kids loved it! On Saturday we went over to the Olympic Park and took a tour. It was awesome! My favorite part! We got to sit in a bob sled, watch Nortic jumpers, go to the top of the jump and look down it, go to the start of the bob sled, skeleton, and louge tracks. Really entertaining!
On Sunday we had a party at my inlaws. They are so sweet. We had dinner and Janet even went and found sugar free brownies for me since I've been off sugar since August. It was so sweet of her!
On Monday we had dinner at my parents house. The cake had a 3 on it. I asked my mom to keep the zero off! My dad wasn't able to make it. He was on a layover in Hawaii, rough I know! But when he got back he brought me a beautiful bouquet. They look and feel fake but aren't. It's amazing!
My sweet friend Erica gave me the box of suckers. I had to post a picture because they were so cute and made me laugh!
Thanks to everyone who helped make turning 30 that much better! Love you all!!

This is a cute picture of Tyler I just had to throw in there!
And this is our awesome artichoke plant we grew this year. Turns out it take like 18 months for an artichoke to grow to adult. But it was still fun and right before it got freezing we did get a little one! Cute!
Fun October Activities
We took the kids to Cornbelly's again this year. They LOVE it there! There is so much for them to play on and jump on. It's so great! This year we lost Tyler though. It scared me so bad! It was dark and there were so many people there. When we told him to get off one slide because we're going to the next he said no and ran off. Within seconds we couldn't find him. That's sort of how he rolls. Never listens to us and always has to do it one more time. But luckily someone took him to the info booth and we found him there. It was scary for us all! I'm so glad the Lord watched over him and nothing worse happened!
Here are picts of our pumkin endevours this year. We let the kids draw on theirs. We grew them all in our garden again. Matt carved one, with help from the children. He was going to do a simple on but Tyler saw a picture on the computer and begged Matt to do the Death Star. So he did. He's such a good dad. And he did a great job!

I'm not crazy!
I came downstairs today and my Katie was on the couch eating ice cream out of the box. Here was our conversation:
me: Katie what are you doing? You don't get to eat ice cream without asking me first.
Katie: I wanted some and I don't want to ask you.
me: You have to ask me or you will get in trouble.
Katie: I mean I did ask you.
me: No you didn't.
Katie: You aren't very smart mom.
Where does she get these things! Now she's eating ice cream on the couch because if I look at her I start laughing. She's already trying to convince me I'm loosing my mind!

My Future Sis-in-law
Let me introduce to you all Amelia Preet. Her and Tyson are engaged to be married on October 13th. Here is how the Oliver Family decided to initiate her into the family. She's a trooper and has to love my brother a ton for doing this!
First EVER Oliver "Camping" Reunion
That's right! You read the title correctly! The Oliver Family dad a camping trip. Shocker I know! We went up to Heber Valley Camp for 2 nights. Che' and Lisa put the entire thing together and did an awesome job! We had firesides, flag ceremonies, the kids earned bead for doing nice things They were so creative and did a great job bringing the spirit into everything. A perfect weekend! Did I mention that we were camping in cabins. And there was electricity, heated toilet seats, fridge, space heaters, and other perks? That's just how we roll!

Cute Little Jackson!
The little girls Annie, Lindsey, and Katie singing Book Of Mormon Stories with Papa at the campfire!
Julie, Luke, and their kids Sabree, Oliver, and Jaylee did the FUNNIEST skit ever! It's hard to see in here, but they al have mustaches on and did the funniest accents. Luke pulled out his guitar and did a song and skit that they wrote! Ret, Tyler, and Oliver
Ryan and Brittani with Jaxon right before we went canoing. I didn't get pictures of it but this was the adventure of the weekend! Their canoe had the two of them, Jaxon, and Lindsey. Little Jacamo went in the water and when Ryan and Brit reached to grab him the boat tipped. Our canoe with Me, Katie, and Tyson were closest so Tyson jumped in after them too. The canoe had landed on of the two babies. But in the end everyone was ok and the camp workers were their right away to help out. Poor Ryan and Brit were only staying one night so they didn't bring a change of clothes or anything. It was the perfect adventure to bring the family together. Between us all we were able to dress all the family and get them dried and happy right away! I love my family! Above: Katie, Tyler, and Oliver
Below: Jaylee, Zak, Max, Sabree, Aspin, and Rex
Cute kids!!!
Notice Katie's hair? She let me do braids. It brought back all my old girls camp memories!
There was a roap swing there too. Took people up really high, then they pulled the courd and dropped. That's Julie in the background. Tyler was stoked, but then didn't end up doing it Katie did tho! Of course not all the way to the top. I think all the kids and most of the adults did it!
Another roap course where you lean on eachother and it gets wider and wider apart. Tyler and Ollie did it and laughed the entire time. Below is Che' and Lisa. They made it all the way to the end. A few others did too!
The Zoo
We had a fun outing in September to Hogle Zoo and later to "My Meadow". Of course the kids loved both. Here are some fun picts. We live in such a great state! So many things to take advantage of!
We had to hike with our light sabers!

First Day of School
My kids are both in school!!!!!! Tyler started kindergarten this year and is loving it. Katie started preschool this year and loves every second of it.
Tyler's favorite part? Riding the bus to and from school each day. The cute little boy squeels every morning when the bus comes into site like it's the first time again! It makes everyone laugh. He is so adorable.
We live in such a great community! These are some of the kids that started kindergarten this year in our ward. I think there are 3 others missing from the picture. We live in such a great place for our little family right now. We are so blessed!
His teacher is Mrs. Katie Spaulding and he really likes her! Sadly this is the only picture I have taken of her so far. I'll get a better one eventually!
