Quick Update

There really isn't much to say. This week hasn't been too exciting. Matt went back to work (after two weeks paternity leave). I was a little nervous to be alone with two kids, but it hasn't been too bad. Katie sleeps so much still (luckily). But I do stay busy enough with them both. It's nice to start to get into a routine somewhat. I think Tyler is really needing it. He hasn't been himself really. Which is expected with a new baby. He's great with her, he's just throwing fits now to get our attention. In time things will get better I'm sure. Probably as soon as Katie starts sleeping thru the night right. So, things are great with us. I'll hopefully have picts after this weekend. It should be a good one. My sis is coming in town (which everyone knows is my favorite thing). This is a boring post but thought I would send out a hi to you all! Love ya!

Cute Family!

Things have been good for us. Katie is adjusting to a better schedule then she was, which is nice for Matt and I at night. Tyler just adores her. He is so cute and laughs at her all day long! Matt still has work off (Paternity Leave) which is a lifesaver for me. It's nice to have him around. Two kids by myself scared me, but now that it's been a while I'm not as worried about it. So when he goes back to work next week it should be fine. Life is great for us, I just wanted to get online and post a few more picts of my little family.

Over the weekend Che' and Lisa were sealed to their little girl Annie and then blessed her on Sunday. All the family was in town and this is Grandma with Tyler's favorite cousins Oliver and Sabree. It was a great weekend!

So, things are going really well for us. Granted I would love a little more sleep, but in time right? Katie is so cute! She's a good little baby. Tyler loves her to death, but he's actually sick right now so it's hard to keep them apart. And he doesn't really understand it. I feel bad! But he'll be better really soon and there is plenty of time for them to play! Here are a few more picts of Katie, I have some other really good ones, but still need to upload them to my computer. Our New Arrival

She's here!!! Little Baby Katie has arrived. She was born at 5:49pm on July 12. Weighed in at 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long. She has a full head of hair just like Tyler did and she is absolutly beautiful. The labor went great! Mother and Baby are doing fantastic. We'll post more later, but just wanted to do a bit for family and friends who can't make it! We love you all!

My Big Project

So, all this time Matt has been working on the yard and what not I took it upon myself to do Katie's bedroom. I finally finished it this morning and am quite proud of it. I painted the entire thing, which isn't easy 8 1/2 months pregnant. The top is a light pink and darker pink and brown on the bottom. Plus I did her name and found a cute pink piggy bank with brown dots. I also made the crip skirt (with help from my mom). Can you tell I am proud of my project. I think it's cute and now it will be ready for her when she comes on Tuesday.

I am also adding some picts from Tyler's room. Matt and I did it when we first moved in. However you can't see some of the cute detail in the picts. He has a cute airplane bed spread, little airplanes on the wall by his dresser. We went to the store and he picked his temple picture (which actually took him a while and he loved it). Under his name is the cute saying "Planes, traines, and automobiles, there's nothing like a little boy." Or something like that. It's adorable! And he LOVES his big boy bed! (I made his curtains too, but you can't see them.)

4th of July

We did so much this weekend. On the 3rd we did fireworks with my family and my dad's singles ward. It was a lot of fun. Tyler hated the firworks but after a while he got to where he would walk around with his should up like it was covering his ear. He spent the rest of the night like that. It was adorable!




On the 4th we had a bbq with Matt's family at Dave and Chelsie's house. Tyler got to play in their backyard on their tramp. He of course loved it.

It started raining for a second while Tyler and Matt were jumping. I was taking a picture right when it started and they both instantly covered their eyes. It was funny!

After dinner we went to Dave's families farm. Tyler got to see the horses and cows. He like the horses alot, and loved playing on the fence. He didn't like the cows at all. They just had babies and were a litle protective so they were making a lot of noise when we came by. He hated it. Had a lot of fun climbing around and playing though.


We had a great weekend filled with yard work, family, friends, and a lot of fun! I am so greatful to live where I do, have the life that I have, the family that I have, and to be near so many loved ones. We are very blessed and very happy!

Workin' in the Yard

Matt did so much work in our yard. It's been a couple weekends worth, but he's just about done. First it was laying cement, then leveling the yard, laying gravel, and finally astro turf. It's looking really good though. The astro turf is all layed out we just need to nail it down now. He has done a great job. Tyler has been at his side the entire time, loving every minute of it! He loves being with Matt and doing whatever he does. It's so adorable. Here are a few pictures of the yard in progress.
