My New Hobby
My husband is so sweet. For Mother's Day I got a new sewing machine. He gave it to me a few days early and I LOVE it. Who would have thought I would enjoying sewing as much as I do. I decided to make a quilt for Katie's bed. I haven't ever gotten one for her, but figured this is a perfect project for my new machine. I did it today and it turned out so dang cute, I love it!

Total Bliss
Tonight was such a great evening I just have to blog about it. Matt got home from work this evening. I had made dinner and we sat down and ate as a family. That's really it. Something that might not seem like a big deal to many of you but to me it's huge. I usually feed the kids myself and they wait to eat with Matt when he gets home right before he goes to class. Today we ate, enjoyed each other and the kids, and cleaned up dinner. Then Matt went to scouts and I did my visiting teaching. It has been a perfect evening and total bliss. I love having Matt out of school. The Lord has blessed us so much. He is constantly helping through our trials and blessing us more then we could even ask for. I am so greatful for my family, the gospel, the atonement, my life, and so much more. What a great day!

Graduation
Last weekend was so great! Matt graduated from UVU. We had a lot of fun! We spent Friday with family doing brunch, the graduation, and dinner. Then Saturday we did a bbq with friends during the day and went out with other friends in the evening. It was a fun filled weekend and Matt is finished with school. I am so proud of him. What a great accomplishment for anyone to achieve. Good job to all the graduates out there and all the current students working to graduate. I've learned in the last few days to apreciate life in the moment. Matt and I try not to live with regrets but we sometimes live for the future. It's good to live for the future and have goals and work to achieving them, but also enjoy the present. We are at a new crossroads in our lifes right now. Almost like another beginning. I have decided to do my best to live in the moment and make it the best possible. Today started and I am the one who decides how it will end. No matter what comes my way I am going to make it a good day!

Overly Fun Filled Weekend!
We had such a fun weekend!!! We went down to Logandale, near Lake Mead, for the weekend. We got to go to the county fair, the rodeo, swimming, boating, Vegas, easter egg hunts, and more. Every member of my family was there, which with so many people that travel for careers that doesn't happen often. Tyler and Katie loved spending the weekend with all of their cousins. There are now 12 1/2 grandkids on my side. It was so fun and a much needed vacation for Matt and I. Thanks Che' and Lisa! Here is a bunch of the pictures taken.

Tyler really wanted to do this bungy thing. He loved it, what a brave little boy!
These are the boys (Ret, Tyler, and Oliver) waiting their turn to jump. Their heads were bobbing up and down together watching the jumpers.
We all watched pig races in the morning. It was surprisingly quite entertaining!

Tyler and Oliver had so much fun riding the rides together.

This is at the rodeo. I have NEVER seen Tyler so excited about anything in my life. He was giggling and laughing and clapping. He couldn't stop smiling and couldn't sit down. Who knew Tyler would like a rodeo that much!
What a cute little girl!

The grandkids had to wait in the bedroom while we hid eggs. It was raining Saturday morning so we couldn't do it outside like planned.

We took Tyler to see Vegas while Katie stayed at the house with my parents. He didn't care for it until the lights went on. Then we couldn't stop talking!

Easter Sunday pictures will be coming later. The rest of these pictures are for any boys who might be looking. This was Matt's FAVORITE part of the entire vacation.

Conference Weekend
Don't you just love General Conference? This weekend was so fun and relaxing. We had a weekend full of family, friends, and fun! Then this evening we got with some friends and did a little Easter egg hunt. Each one of us have a toddler and a baby now. It is a lot of fun to get together. The kids loved it! Here are some pictures of the cute kids!

Family Night
We went up the canyon yesterday for family home evening with some friends. It was a lot of fun. We roasted hot dogs and hung out. Tyler was playing on a hill right by us and almost got hit by a deer. It ran only two feet away from him. Needless to say when the other deer ran by he wasn't very thrilled. He talked about it all night, obviously a little adrenaline rush. It was so nice to get out on a warm evening together. I am so excited for summer! Here are some pictures. Oh and Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Hope you all remembered to wear green, if not consider yourself pinched!

Tyler
My sweet little boy turned 3 yesterday. He is getting so big. We had a little party for him yesterday with his friends. He had a lot of fun. He is such a big boy and has grown so much in this last year. He is so sweet and adorable. I can't believe that I have been a mother for three years now. Time sure does fly. Before I know it I will probably be preparing to send my little Tyler off on a mission. Scary! Lets just start with sending him to preschool or something. I am so lucky to be given such a wonderful little boy who has been so sweet and precious his entire life. I don't know if I am the best mom he could ask for, but I sure know I couldn't ask for a better son. He makes me so happy and brings so much joy to my life. His smile and laugh just touch my heart. He is so sweet to his little sister, always trying to get her excited and laughing. He is best friends with his dad, if he had it his way Dad would never stop playing with him. He has just grown up so much, but is still so little. It's been an exciting three years with Tyler in our lives. I know my little guy will bring a whole new load of adventures for us this next year. I love you so much Tyler and am so blessed and thankful to be your mom!

He played on his new mini trampoline all day. He loved it. He also got the sunglasses and sandles from a friend that he wore most the day.

He really really wanted a fire truck theme so we made it happen. Cute cake huh! We'll pretend I made it!

Our Very Needed Relaxing Weekend
This weekend was so much fun! It was a very busy week for Matt and I and exhausting. I was so excited for the weekend, simply because we finally didn't have any plans. Saturday we went to the park and threw a frisbee around while Tyler played. The day was so warm. In the evening we got a babysitter and went to a nice dinner party at my friend Danielle's house. She did a great job putting it all together and we had a lot of fun!
We now have church in the morning which I love so we have all afternoon to do whatever. Matt and Katie took a nap after church while Tyler and I played in the backyard. Then we visited a little family, went on a walk, put the kids to bed, and are having a quite evening. This weekend was so layed back and the weather was so wonderful! I just loved it all.
Also, yesterday Katie decided to crawl and today she has been all over the place. She's getting big. Potty training for Tyler is doing a lot better. We still have some problems, but he's a cute boy and is loving being a big boy! The other day I told him he has a cute little bumb. He got mad at me and said "no, mine big bumb! Like Daddy's big bumb!" It was hillarious! This weekend was very needed and I loved being able to spend time with Matt and the kids! Sorry there are no pictures. I have had problems accessing them for some reason. I'll get some up again soon tho. Hope your weekend was as good as mine was and I hope you all have a great week!
