Halloween

Halloween weekend was a blast! Tyler had a little program on Thursday at his school. He was so precious! He had a little line that we practiced all week. I can't believe my little boy just had his first school program! Friday we got to go to Matt's work and do trick-or-treating to all the cubicals. Afterwards we went to Matt's parents house for a Halloween Party. Needless to say there was a lot of sugar and a lot of fun that day! Saturday was the first weekend in a while that we got to spend as a family doing whatever we wanted. It was nice for a change to have a quiet day. That even however was the opposite. We got together with friends and took the kids trick-or-treating. Tyler and Katie loved it! Tyler was Super Why this year. If any of you watch PBS Kids it's a hot show on there. Tyler loves it! Katie was a bumblebee. She got into it so much. She ran as fast as she could door-to-door trying to keep up with the toddlers. She said her version of trick-or-treat at each one too, followed by her version of thank you. She loved it and would get so mad if we tried to get her to skip a house!

This was before church today. I can't believe how big my little kids are getting!

My life is so blessed. Matt and I have decided to read the Book of Mormon in 30 days. (thanks to the great example of Julie and Luke) We have been going a week now. It's amazing the change we have seen in our home and lifes this last week. It's only 18 pages a day which isn't that much unless you miss a day! We have already recieved blessing for doing this. When really having the scriptures alone are a blessing. The Lord just keeps giving us more! This month we got to spend a lot of time with friends and family with my birthday and halloween. It reminded me of how greatful I am so be surrounded by so many people that love me and my little family. I am so incredubly blessed it's unreal. And I owe everything to the Lord. I know if I didn't include him in my life I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you all for being part of my life and my group of loved ones!

Geek My Media

Matt and I have a new business! Everyone should go check it out at www.geekmymedia.com. I haven't posted in forever because all my spare time has gone to creating the website. It's now up and running, our business is registered, and we are legit! Go see and let us know what you think. The system is amazing! It's an all-in-one computer hooked to your tv. Allows you to record live tv, store movies and music, surf the net, and more all from your couch. Everyone needs one!!!

Lake Mead

Over Labor Day Weekend we went down to Nevada with my family. My brother Che' and his family have a house down in Logandale, by Lake Mead, and invited us to go down there with them. It was of course a blast. Here are some pictures of our fun filled weekend. Thanks Che' and Lisa!

Tyler's First Day of School

Tuesday was Tyler's first day of preschool. He was so excited and so stinkin cute! He was really good. His teacher, Mrs. Kelley, said he and his friend Blake were a little "chatty" but they were really good. I swear that's all my parents heard about me my entire life, figures my little boy would get the same comment his first day! :)
I'm trying to teach Tyler to pose a smile, since he never does for pictures. This is what I got!

He was a little nervous with Mrs. Kelley at first, but now likes her a lot. She's a really bubbly person and great with the kids!

I KNOW

I don't know who all reads my blog. But today I feel impelled to share something with anyone who will listen. As I scroll through my posts and see pictures of my family, friends, and all loved ones I can't help but appreciate all the Lord has given me. I know I post a lot about my day to day things, what my little family has been up to. I don't show enough appreciation to the one who makes it all happen. I am so grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am greatful to be cealed to my family for time and all eternity. I am thankful and proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that Christ lives. I know the church is true. I know that through the atonement we can all return to live with our Heavenly Father Again. I know President Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet on the earth today, just like in the times of old. I know temples are placed on this earth for a purpose and I believe in the work done in them. I know I can live with my Heavenly Father again if I live worthly in this life. I know I am not perfect and for that am eternally greatful for the sacrifices that have been made for me. I know the power of the priesthood and all that is can do for us. I am greatful for a husband that holds and honors his priesthood. I am greatful for a church building nearby that I can go and worship with others. I am greatful to have the spirit in my home guiding and protecting me and my family. This is my small testimony that gets stronger as I continue to work on it. Some may find this post odd, some may appreciate it. I want everyone to know what I know so here I am sharing it. I pray that everyone will someday know this for themselves. I thank those out there that have touched my life and helped make me who I am today. I thank those that continue to be examples to me and make me want to be a better person. I say this in the name of my Lord, my Savior, my brother Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ceramic Project

Some girlfriends and I went to Color Me Mine a week or so ago. It was so much fun! I just love that place! For those of you who might not know what it is, you go and pick a ceramic piece, paint it, and then they fire it and you pick it up a few days later. Well, I picked mine and was inspired by Matt and his love for Japan.

It's 4 smalls, square bowls that sit on a plate. I put konji on each one. The plate says love. The bowls are family, happiness, hope, and faith.

My Baby is 1

My baby turned 1 today! I can't believe it. She has grown so much and so fast. She is the cutest little girl ever. She is such a happy, smiley, smart, little girl. I love her so much! Here are some pictures over the year.

Our 4th

We have had a great weekend. Yesterday we did dinner and fireworks at my parents. It was a great day! Tyler enjoyed the fireworks (thanks for the ear plugs Grandma and Grandpa) Katie would laugh ever time a loud noise happened. She thought that was so funny!
Every grandchild (except Katie and Annie) on the tramp and loving it!

Tyler, Ret, and Oliver playing in the dirt. Which they did almost all day long!

Tutu

I made these little tutus for my nieces. They turned out so cute, but it's hard to tell. Matt wouldn't let me put them on Tyler for pictures so I made him hold them. One is a small one for my 1 year old niece, Jaylee, and one is a long one for my 6 year old niece, Sabree. Super cute!
